A Midsummer's Night

After a long, dark winter the Swedes are starved for light. They bask in it at every opportunity, happily foregoing sleep for the sunís attentions.

Summer is a time of both joy and simple pleasures for Swedes, a hospitable, traditional people with a gift for clarity and design. They are modest and reserved, but one must never under-estimate Northern passions.
